The Juristische Bibliothek (Law Library) in the New Town Hall is not only popular with students, but also interesting for architecture enthusiasts and anyone who likes to be enchanted by the atmosphere of an old library.
Included in the price:
It is probably the most beautiful library in the city – the law library in the New Town Hall impresses with its high walls of books, the wrought-iron spiral staircases and the Art Nouveau gallery. The reading room was founded in 1843 and still serves as a retreat for all those interested in law to read and study. Lectures, discussions and readings also take place here from time to time.
You could easily think that a few scenes for the “Harry Potter“ films were shot in this magical place, but the library has served as a backdrop for other stories - your guide, who will accompany you, will certainly know which ones they are.
